Getting started

For the GHL agency admin who is installing Optigram on a sub-account. Plan on about five minutes after the Marketplace install. Use this checklist first; the linked pages have the detail.

1. Install Optigram on the sub-account from the GoHighLevel Marketplace. Approve OAuth and open the Optigram Custom Page. Details: Install & connect.
2. Create a BotFather bot, paste the token in Optigram, and connect. One bot per location — do not reuse a token. Details: Create a Telegram bot.
3. Confirm Webhook health is ok and Optigram is listed and active under Settings → Conversation Providers. Details: Install & connect.
4. Generate an opt-in link (or QR / button snippet) from the dashboard. Details: How to use.
5. Tap Start yourself (or a test contact) and confirm the thread in GHL Conversations.

Keep in mind

• One BotFather bot per location. If the token is already connected elsewhere, create a new bot.
• Token-less /start (someone found the bot via search) is rejected. Optigram does not cold-message anyone — Telegram bots cannot start a chat.
• A placeholder phone number on the contact is expected. Use the Telegram Handle custom field. See Install & connect.
